WASHED UP
Washed Up opens with a novelist desperately trying to finish his last ever book so that he can retire in comfort. Gradually, he becomes taken over by a presence in the room which refuses to leave him alone. Working late, and seemingly unable to separate the real and the unreal, author and character become locked together to find an ending to the story. It is up to the audience to decide what they are actually seeing. Did Emily really visit Jim Parker or is the entire scenario being played out inside his head?
